Yellow Season

Yellow season is rolling out all around us. Yellow season is daffodils, forsythia, and dandelions. Some other stuff is yellow all year-round.

You made me laugh with the ‘orange’ comment.
I think one of the reasons people like yellow so much is that it’s the first burst of color after the darker colors of winter. Yellow has always been a favorite color of mine, I especially like it in my kitchen.

    • Now I wonder where all the yellow came from. The lesson of yellow snow: Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean it isn’t there. Now I’m wondering if they still make Pepsodent toothpaste — you know, “You’ll wonder where the yellow went / when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent”?

Jealous! We had snow and freezing rain here (Ottawa, Canada) on Friday.

BTW, what does the last sign mean? I’ve never seen one like that.

    • Where the North Road runs into State Road there’s a grassy triangle where it forks left and right. The reflectorized sign is to make sure that nighttime motorists fork and don’t run into the tree. 🙂 We’ve got other intersections like that, most of them unlit, and they usually have some sort of reflectors on them.
